The Good and Bad of 2013

2013’s good and bad
It seems just a few blinks of eyes since Xmas 2012, 2013 has been coming to the end, there have been a lot of excitement, joy and some despair in the whole year. After our Christmas party which was help in the office due to budget concern instead of a 4-start hotel ball room in 2012. Xmas has finally arrives, as usual, after a short while, New year would come, thence Chinese new year…time flies!
There are some of the memorial people who did a good job in the year.

The 26-year-old Rex Tso won three big fights this year, and defended his WBC Asia super flyweight title, we were filled with pride.

Lee Wai Sze ( 李慧詩) also known as Sarah Lee, is a Hong Kong professional racing cyclist. She specializes in track cycling especially as a sprinter.

HKAPA graduates
On a ceremonious day in June, HKAPA graduates decided to mark their receipt of their diplomas by showing their own type of respect to CY Leung, who was present on stage. Rather than bowing to our HK Chief Executive- the year’s most significant symbol of Hong Kong’s recently politically active youth.

Lee Shau Kee and Chou Yun Fat
It’s not every day that a tycoon donates like Lee Shau Kee a 100,000 sq ft of land worth $107 million to build a nursing home.
In Nov, our “Mark Gor” Chow Yun Fat said in an interview that he would donate 99 percent of his wealth to charity after he passes away.  It’s certainly a gesture I should salute.

Our Government
It’s not often we’re applauding our government. But this year, plunged into the middle of the world’s highest profile security issue and amid US demands for extradition, the Hong Kong government declined to give Edward Snowden up. Thumb’s Up! J

For those who has been moved in Hong Kong less than 7 years, well, you are entitled to have the right applying social walfare now. This is HK's people and the Tax payers'
generosity.

TVB
May Fung and her TV movie Guests, featured frequent outbursts of irritating laughter and numbingly incessant promotion of Swanson’s chicken broth in her cooking show on TVB, I am not pleased to hear that kind of laughter whilst someone’s stomach is not moving at all.

May Fung became an unintentional symbol for HKer’s despair following the spectacular rejection of HKTV’s free-to-air license.

23 Dec before X’mas, the astonishing saying of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un : Eating meat to solve problem of Starvation  (金正恩:吃肉可解決缺糧)

I have been trying to search, ask see what watches he wears seem this is the watch frequently been shown in Website. What watch is Kim Jong Un wearing?! Is that the watch he bought when he studied in Switzerland!?  Who can advise me!?
