When Rolex price is crazy, think about the poor cousin, Tudor

While everyone is craze for Rolex, have you all ever thought of Tudor, as the thumb of rule is, buy when price is low.
When most of the people is pouring money into Rolex, his young brother Tudor price is still on the edge of rising. I can say it is still cheap for some of the awesome coloured Tudor.
These is some of my good friend's Tudor collection, he had just bought another 16 pieces of Tudor Tiger within the last two months.
I think the most after ought colour is Coral, Red, creamy yellow, and Green. Do keep an eye on these beautiful Tudor as they are still OK to buy. Price is from HK$22000, to HK$ 75,000.
Within 5 years. more people will be buying these Tudor and I am sure by that time the price is 2X higher or even more.
While if possible, get those with full set.
Don't mind paying more 25-30% more.

The Tudor Harrods

Bucherer is one of the oldest watch retail In Switzerland.

To celebrate 130 yearra birthday in 2018, they created a few Theme of release with “Blue” as the theme.
The Paneria PAM694 45mm with beautiful blue dial and blue crocodile strap.

The Blue Editions with Tudor partnership is the Heritage Black Bay Bronze Blue. And it's exactly what it sounds like.

Technically speaking, everything about this watch is identical to the original Heritage Black Bay Bronze that launched back in 2016.

It's still a 43mm dive watch with a special bronze case that houses the Tudor MT5601, which is a chronometer-certified, in-house movement with a silicon balance.

We get both a blue dial and a blue disc here.

The contrast with the bronze itself is high. And the watch really pops in the images.

To complement the new color scheme, there's also a new blue and gold fabric strap with bronze hardware too. On the reverse, you'll find a special engraving commemorating Bucherer's 130th anniversary in 2018.

Here are a few more photos, showing off the details on the latest iteration of Black Bay for now.

The Tudor Black Bay Bronze Blue is available from today, exclusively through Bucherer. It is priced at 3,800 CHF, which is the same as the standard Black Bay Bronze. For more, visit Bucherer online.

Tudor Fastrider Chronograph

Yet to be available in all Rolex AD shops in HK, but I found that some of them has stock.  MSRP is HKD$28900.

This is a new offer from Tudor, a bit young to look but as not as serious as Rolex Daytona.

At least the price is roughly 1/3 of Daytona, but the colourful dial may hit your nerve to buy one for your week end hang out or Hiking with Friends!

Tudor 79280 Prince Chronograph Red Face Date

Tudor 79280 Prince Chronograph Red Face Date, This watch was released in 2000. A Rare Red Dial. 40mm Tudor Prince Automatic movement, Sapphire Crystal, Date, Oyster Strap, Stainless steel case and Strap, this is more or less a Poor people's Rolex Daytona Paul Newman! And I like this more as because there is a DATE where Daytona does not have, Well, the Daytona dial design seems has no more room for a Date as it is perfectly balanced with the three dials like the reversed Chinese word "品" !!

Extremely Rare Tudor Ranger II

This is the most desired watches of the 70’s TUDOR range II...to wear a RANGER is to understand why! This dial is sunken, blue and striking having huge, Arabic luminescent numerals... very prominent and eye-catching...a simplistic design that makes this deal the best looking in the TUDOR Ranger II, The hefty stainless steel case with steel fluted big bezel and ROLEX crown measures 37mm...shimmering... sitting high on the wrist...commanding attention...having a solid and heavy linked original TUDOR integrated bracelet. The black dial with date readout is also perfect...retaining its' original hands and vibrant, orange sweep seconds. The automatic winding, ETA TUDOR movement has just been cleaned and is keeping perfect time. Most of the Tudor Ranger II found on internet is not real at all on every parts of it, this one is completely correct all around...with exception of the dial has been touched up a bit I guess. But who cares, this is perfect Blue Colour I like! These models were marketed as an experiment for Rolex in the 1970's and 1980's in both automatic and quartz versions. The watch measures 38mm wide by 43mm long. This is the Tudor Explorer II equivalent of Rolex. It has Rolex Oyster Case, Rolex Crown and Rolex Buckle... An Extremely Rare collection if everything goes original. More Eye-catching than anyRolex Explorer I or II!

Tudor Automatic man's watch

A 60's Tudor as it was having the "big Flower" as the trade mark at 12 O'clock position.
A man's watch for those who could not afford to buy a Rolex in the 60's and 70's., That was friends of mine liked to say about people who bought Tudor that time! Tudor was the sister brand of Rolex until 2000.
Most of the parts are being shared each other, like the cases, crown, bracelet... etc.. But I am sure this Tudor is interesting as the "Big Flower" is the one we would like to collect!

Rolex or Tudor?

Note this is not Rolex, but as it is used to be... Tudor has been using Rolex Crown, Rolex Oyster Case for their watch, till 90's then they had make their line clearly that this is Tudor and That is Rolex....

So This is one of the collectible watch from Tudor, Functional, with a Date, better than Daytona that comes with no date!

Price, about HKD$15,000.00, do you want to buy this!?
