Due to the controlled spending on Chinese, This year’s watches sale has declined 80% as comparing with the Same time in 2012.

I have at least helped 20 of our watch fans to buy Rolex in December 2012. Well, up to now, there has been still a lot of enquires, but I believe only a few of them finally try not to spend their money coming to HK to buy Rolex, rather stay in their country.

One example of Singapore, which used to be 10% more expensive than HK, there has been a lot of promotional items on Rolex, many Singaporean stays in their Country for Rolex purchases.

Rolex GMT Master II Ref 116710BLRN is still the hottest item, from what I have learnt, still many people is eager to buy such a watch, but there are a lot of people who bought it at HKD$65,300 list price without discount.

Well, surprising, due to the down turn of Rolex Sale, we can get Daytona Stainless steel much easier than ever in HK.  We can get Ref116520 Daytona Black and One White by December. However, people’s buying power is low to response to that

2014 World Economy

I believe 2014 is a good year for World’ Economy and definitely Rolex price will increase by 2014

I am afraid Rolex will keep the same price as it is now for at least first Quarter of 2014 as who will buy if the price will be increased another 5%!? The Rolex watch price is an International index for how good or how well the sale of Rolex for all countries as 60% of Rolex will be imported to HK every year.

2013’s good and bad

It seems just a few blinks of eyes since Xmas 2012, 2013 has been coming to the end, there have been a lot of excitement, joy and some despair in the whole year. After our Christmas party which was help in the office due to budget concern instead of a 4-start hotel ball room in 2012. Xmas has finally arrives, as usual, after a short while, New year would come, thence Chinese new year…time flies!

There are some of the memorial people who did a good job in the year.

The 26-year-old Rex Tso won three big fights this year, and defended his WBC Asia super flyweight title, we were filled with pride.

Lee Wai Sze ( 李慧詩) also known as Sarah Lee, is a Hong Kong professional racing cyclist. She specializes in track cycling especially as a sprinter.

On a ceremonious day in June, HKAPA graduates decided to mark their receipt of their diplomas by showing their own type of respect to CY Leung, who was present on stage. Rather than bowing to our HK Chief Executive- the year’s most significant symbol of Hong Kong’s recently politically active youth.

May Fung and her TV movie Guests, featured frequent outbursts of irritating laughter and numbingly incessant promotion of Swanson’s chicken broth in her cooking show on TVB, I am not pleased to hear that kind of laughter whilst someone’s stomach is not moving at all.

May Fung became an unintentional symbol for HKer’s despair following the spectacular rejection of HKTV’s free-to-air license.

White Gold is more preferred due to scarcity and is more low profile to wear, more able to be not recognized by Non-Rolex chap, but it is more to be appreciate by Rolex-Fans!

These are Michael Tein Puk-Sun (1950) and James Tien Pei-Chun (1947) who is both actively a business man and as well members of two political parties in HK.

I have no comment on what they do to the benefit of People of HK but all I know they have different taste in Watch.

Michael used to wear Rolex Date Just stainless steel and his brother a Patek!

Note that they share the same Chinese Character “北” for them but Elder James English name is “Pei” and younger Michael is “Puk”, during issue Birth certificate, the translation of Chinese Character had not established a standard. And like Family name葉 , “Ip” sometimes, the translation is “Yip”.

Sally Yeh, 葉蒨文  sometimes written as Sally Yip or Yip Sin-Man, her family name is “Yeh” as she was from Taiwan. If you are born in Malaysia, they will be named as “Yap” wow, only one Family name will be split into so many different families of naming.. Should we unify them?
