Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo 1972

The Pictures are taken today by HTC One

I still recall that PP AP, VC and Piaget had been named as The Big Four from Switzerland in all ads and watch magazine in the newspaper Ad of 80's in Hong Kong… and they ranked AP the top of the Four. (Correct me if I am wrong.)
In the 70’s Some of the best movement that collection won't miss: IWC 85 series, Vacheron Constantin 920 (Audemars Piguet 2120, Vacheron Constantin 1120, Patek Philippe PP28-255*) Patek Philippe 460, Omega series 5, and the most adorable Rolex 1570.
Especially Rolex is the most cost effect amongst al these top brands.
This is the first Jumbo AP Royal Oak equipment with this 2120 Movement with 39mm in size
The Total Thickness of the whole watch is merely 7mm. It is very thin, and the watch is extremely accurate, meaning that you can not notice any minor change at all on the minute hand after I have timed it for one month.
This is one of my favourite items from Audemars Piguet, big, thin, Simple, stylist, solid Gold, Vintage, memorabilia, beautiul, rare and not too expensive!
Once, some people asked me if this is quartz movement!

Hi HK Snob, I'm keen to acquire a Royal Oak 15300ST (blue/black dial) any ideas if they're still available in HK? Pricing? Am thinking of making a trip to HK soon..

Hi Danny

Ref, 15300ST no more production and most of the shops do not have this model anymore. AP produces a new model Ref, 15400 with larger size of 41mm, there is two shipments a month to the dealer, and they can get one for you, tell me the colour you prefer, HKD$132,000 is the list price, normal walk-in is less 10%. I try to get a special discount. Mail me and i will inform you.

Hi Lim Jackey
Yes. They are friends, and I wish I could meet Solenn, she is georgous...

I used to come Manila as my work requires. I like here as people got sense of humour and they are smiling and friendily...

perhaps if i had money, this is one of the places for retirement. but I hate typhoons!

I have checked shops that the AP 15202ST was already Discontinued.

Are you from Philippines!?

Yup! Born and raised here. My parents are both pure chinese and im the 2nd generation born here. I agree with you. Solenn is really gorgeous. Hehehe. I thought the 15202 was re-released on 2012 with a few minor detail change? I think its also known as the 40th anniversary watch.

Hi Limjakey
I will counter check again with other AP shop or AP boutique.

Which area has the most luxury watch shop in Manila!?

Thanks a lot! That would be a great help. In manila that would be the malls in makati business district. Greenbelt 5 has a lot of luxury watch boutiques like rolex, ap, omega, iwc and the likes. We also have a store that carries all those brands named lucerne. It's a bit pricey there but if you know someone or are a valued customer you can get bigger discounts. But based on your prices and discounts I'd say its still a lot cheaper there.
