From 209 votes, we can see Submariner Hulk (Ref 116610LV) got 72 votes, 34% of the total votes.

Second is Submariner Black, then, SeaDweller and DeepSea is the last.

As the golden rule say, the lesser popular yesterday, the more value as for Tomorrow!

So as of today, both the Hulk and DeepSea D-blue is most difficult to find, it is time to get these watches when they are still available

DeepSea D- Blue List price is $90,500 no discount, parallel is $93,500

Normal Discount you can get officially using credit credit at Rolex AD.

HK 5%

Singapore 5-10%

Australia 10-15%

This applies to regular model, hot model like DeepSea D-Blue, Submariner Green bezel green Dial and GMT Batman is not able to get such big discount.

This is rough estimation as we know someone could ask for more discount as they know the manager or they are VIP customers.

When We buy Rolex in AD (Authorized Dealer Shop), you can use Cash, VISA, Master Card, America Express and Union Pay. I Know That HK Rolex AD does not welcome Diners Club as their bank charge is too high.

Amongst those, Union Pay seems to have the smaller percentages of Bank Charge, 1% only whereas VISA and MC is 1.95% and Am Express 2.5% (correct me if I am wrong)!

In Normal practice you can get as many as 5% discount in HK, and many people ask what is the discount if we pay in Cash, actually, same for card and Cash, but up to now I really don't understand why.

I was told that if you work down for more discounts, they may charge your surcharge if you use the credit card, at that time an UnionPay could get more discount as the bank Service change is just 1% which is the lowest amongst all credit card.

So, next time, bring a Union Pay card to Rolex AD in Switzerland and or Japan.

(For the above discount, since many people may get different discount, I hope you can tell me exactly what discount you can get in your countries.

The Cost of the movement of Day Date is not much higher than that of a Date Just, rough estimation manufacturing cost of The Day Date Movement is 1.6 X of that of the Date Just which is in range of a few hundred dollars.

The message is if you want to enjoy Rolex, going for the basic Date Just!

And if you want to be a bit standout of the crowd, pay a respect of 7X for a Platinum, flagship Day Date!!

The 5513 was produced from 1962 through June or so of 1990, which must be one of the longest continually produced Submariner in Rolex history. The reference 5513 was introduced in 1962, and replaced the reference 5508.

The reference 5513 used calibers 1520 and 1530. The caliber 1530 was used in both the 5513 and 5512 calibers for a time. The 5512 carried the C.O.S.C. certification while the 5513 using the same caliber DID NOT have the chronometer certification.

Today, the 5513 is one of the most collectable Submariners, and while it is still accessibly priced, market prices have almost doubled from 2003 to 2009.

In 2003 or so, reference 16610LV was introduced, but has only cosmetic changes to the Submariner Date -- a green bezel and a "maxi dial" which has larger hour markers. Note that there was an earlier version was made with “Flat 4” bezel, that one should be one of the watch we should not ignore if you want to turn it into your investment item of Rolex as Still we can buy it with Full set in market with Reasonable amount.
