My pens and Watch I used to carry with

I used to carry some pens when I travel, minimum two fountain pens, and a ball pen for Signing document.

These are the pen I travel this week:

Top L. Bamberger & Co Celluloid fountain pen with a USA made stainless steel nib which is very soft and flexible.

The Parker 51 with a Sterling Silver Cap, actually the pen itself is of later release with a great smooth fine nib.

The Bottom is a 14KT Tiffany Sixteenth "bamboo".

The Right is a Hermes Lizard skin pen case


Of course the watch is a Rolex Day Date.

Running price trend of the Rolex Deepsea D-blue Ref 116660

 

 

DeepSea D-blue is hot as there is only few pieces in the market, I think estimated less than 2,000 - 3,000 made. of course Rolex is smart by not telling you and there is only Rolex knows how many pieces being produced.

 

 

I have sold only 3 pieces in the past one years, so this is what I feel one of the rare species... of Rolex in the recent decade.  Probably there is a new model launched in 2016 replacing the current DeepSea.

 

 

The HK official Rolex DeepSea D-blue MSRP is HKD$90,500 which is more expensive than Daytona Stainless steel, however as we can see after one year, this watch is selling between

 

HKD$93,800 to HKD$120,000
