A drop of Loctite threadlocker will save your Rolex from dropping!

This is an accident to get scratches on another friend's beloved GMT Master II,

Since this is new, I suggested him to bring to RSC for FREE Polishing!

Have you noticed that your Rolex watch pin for locking up the links were added a drop of threadlocker?

That tiny drop of threadlocker could save your expensive Rolex from loosening and or drop out!

Today my colleague's new GMT Master Black blue was dropped,  luckily onto the carpet!

Simply the Korean Rolex shop staff did not put any threadlocker onto the pin when he bought his watch at Seoul Airport.

In Hong Kong, there are shops don't apply Loctite onto your Rolex. There are also Rolex AD to put Loctite after bracelet lenght adjustment.

I would recommend you to use as the Threadlocker is not adhesive, it prevents pins or screws being loosened. It will not corrode the gold pins or stainless steel pin of your Rolex bracelet. Same for Roger Dubuis, the shop manager at PP helped me to add Loctite too to ensure the massive watch case won't be separated from the leather strap due to loosened gold pin!

Next time, remind your Rolex shop to do it after bracelet length adjustment.

I listen to Aus Pron Star's advice to apply Loctite 242 is it is would not seized on all fine screw Rolex bracelet pin.

As for my big Roger Dubuis, I used Loctite 262 which is a stronger threadlocker as the pin is much thicker and would be unscrewed without difficulties.

Is it easy to Crack a Rolex Crystal?

I don't know how to say, it is hard and it is also very easy.

As it is very hard (second to diamond ) that means it could be brittle!

I have tried to use hammer to wrack the Sapphire crystal, I was quite hard to crack it at all.

My when my daughter used the watch for three days, she brought back to me saying that it was cracked without any notice on how did it happen. I was a bit mad! How could you break it!?

What should we do if the sapphire crystal was cracked?

We should pull out the crown stopping the watch to move as if not the broken sapphire debris would damage the expensive dials by the moving hands.

Send to Rolex Service centre for repair.

It is about HKD$1,500 for a replacement on a Sapphire Crystal, friend of mine had sent his Submariner M116610LN for replacement of the cracked crystal, he had to pay for HKD$5,000, of course, Rolex will ask you to change the water sealing ring, clean it a bit. 3 weeks!

As for my daughter's watch, I sent to a good old watch smith at Sham Shui Po, he immediately replaced for me with Genuine Rolex Crystal, HKD$800  in just 35 minutes.

Manny Pacquiao lost his Vintage Daytona in a 5 star Hotel in Manila

The message was reported by Blog friend Johnson at Manny’s face book.

From what he said this is a Vintage Rolex, yes, Vintage (model?) Daytona embedded with diamonds.

Question 1

Pacquiao said the watch was Vintage, on he said that the watch was Rolex Cosmograph year model 2010 with serial number G753439 (verified that GXXXXXX is 2010 watch).

Question 2.

He knows this is rare and expensive watch why he put down his watch for hand washing, most of all Rolex is waterproof including this Daytona. Pacman ' watch may have problem in water resistant.
 I never put down my watch in rest room.

Question 3

How much this watch is worth? I really don't know much of vintage Rolex as it depends who wants to buy it at Auction, this watch is at least worth USD$485,000 (according to MP said in his Fb)

Some of places he used to show up, like La Opera at Fort or Wooden Horse Restaurant in Alabang as I have seen his pictures Manny taken with Restaurant’s owner Kochi Tabei hanging at the wall beside the rest room.

Next time I should follow him to the rest room, as he used to have a lot of Expensive Rolex!

勞力士每年都攪攪新意思。而今年一口氣推出五款新錶。

而蓝色似乎喺勞力士今年專注的顏色。

年初的GMT MASTER色 II BLUE BLACK model ref 116710BLNR非常渴市，每月每店只配售二隻。無折頭。只有一錶店提供九五折。

七月中到港SeaDweller 4000就叫好不叫座。只有三兩小貓問價而矣，大概因為當時訂價是嚇人的$78,000! 價格比潛水Submariner 多$16,700, 而只 比Deepsea低$3,700;而後來便知道DeepSea 將大幅加價。

八月頭傳聞的Milgauss 藍面己到，有九五折。真錶比相片靚得多多聲!

而八月四日勞力士在網站站發報2014 DeepSea 藍黑面相片，錶面上半部蓝色，下半部黑色!都幾有創意，DeepSea 能下潛12,000呎，我估潛得深看不到光，所以錶面下半部是黑色的。

八月十八日全港勞力士都有八款錶全面加價，加幅是2.9巴仙到6.7巴仙左右，這是2011年九月到現在第一次加價。請參考付表。

另外116000今年出了三種新色:灰，紫和 金棕色。似乎紫色格外另人喜愛。貨源稀少。

很多人問我買那一隻最好?我問好的意思是"好用"? "好扺"?一或好"投資"?

When one was about to ask his wife to give me money to buy a preowned Ferrari 360 yellow with just 36,000KM. with HKD$650,000!, Friend of mine told him his mate had just changed a new Lambor Aventator, he showed the picture on his Iphone4, well, It was a fantastic car, of course, no question about it! It could not be coming into an end as there are new model of Human’s most expensive Toy for people who like SPEED every years on road.

Whatever car you are driving could not possible be comparable to the experience to be on Virgin Galactic flight into the space.  It could blow off 100,000 litres of fuel to move up high enough to get rid of the Earth’s Gravitational force and spin you out the space with an acceleration of 15G.

Imagine that could be once in life time experience and not too many people could afford to pay for the ticket… I cannot. Not been the ticket going to New Mexico’s departure station in economy class.

I just thought to myself what is the best watch the passenger should wear?

GMT MASTER II? I think that is no use as we don't know how we should set the 2^nd time zone!

Submariner? Day Date? No, I think only one watch a Daytona as you can measure only the flying time and it may be the only watch that it still could be function normally after the Flight….
