SleepTracker Watch

The Key to Waking Up Refreshed

Why is it so hard to wake up to a normal alarm clock? Because a normal alarm clock can't detect where you are in your sleep cycle - a continuous cycle from deep sleep, to brief almost-awake moments, and back to deep sleep again. Occasionally, your alarm may catch you at an optimal, almost-awake moment and you wake up feeling refreshed, but usually you grope for the snooze button waking up tired and groggy.

Wake at Your Perfect TimeSLEEPTRACKER® puts an end to that tired feeling. Once you set its alarm window, it monitors your body and continuously looks for your optimal waking times so it can wake you at just the right moment. Imagine not feeling tired in the morning and getting a few extra minutes out of your day. Sleep Tracker ensure you morning to fresh and ready to get to work at best physical condition.

Seiko Automatic Generating System Watch

Seiko’s Quartz watch breakthrough in history with the its AGS or Automatic Generating System . Introduced in Germany , Jan. 1988 , it was the world’s first quartz watch to use an automatic power generating system . The auto pendulum or rotor is swung by movement of the wrist and this goes through a gear chain and multiplied by 100 .

This in turn spins a power-generator at high speed to produce a current and charges a capacitor which in turn feeds the time circuits. High technology and cutting edge in the 80s ; It has now been developed further in the guise of the Seiko Kinetic but AGS was the name only on the first models . The watch can stay up with 75 hours power reserve by the capacity. I think it has the advantage of both accuracy and enviornment friendily as it does not need a battery cell at all!

Attched is a rare sample of Seiko A.G.S. One photo shows the rotor in use as what we are using on our Automatic Watch.

Another one is the display of the two coils, one for the drivr for the step motor to energize the movement of the watch.

The last picture reviel the capacitor to store up the kenetic energy from the rotating rotor for power of the quartz and the electronic IC chips.

Nowadays, Seiko AGS watch is named with "Kenetic"!

Patek Philippe Man's dress watch

Patek Philippe - since its founding in 1839, Patek Philippe timepieces have been considered among the finest in the world. Currently the only manufacture in the world that creates all of its movements by the rigid standards of the Geneva Seal, a Patek Philippe watch is a work of horological art and timeless aesthetic perfection that represents the absolute pinnacle of luxury, elegance and refinement.

Patek Philippe models hold and increase their value more than almost any other brand in the world, which has led to the manufacture’s mantra: “You never actually own a Patek Philippe. You merely look after it for the next generation.” Some of the famous model has caught the auctioneers’’ and had been the most after sought item of Watches.

The most touching ad and in fact right and true description on how a valueless watch that is!
On April 10th, 2008, the Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon model set the world record for the most expensive modern wristwatch ever sold, bringing $1.49 million at Sotheby's Hong Kong auction.

Patek Philippe 10 Day tourbillon

This masterpiece from the workshops of Patek Philippe Geneva is the first watch that combines two complications which are very difficult to accommodate in such a small space: two mainspring barrels connected in tandem for 10 days' power reserve and a tourbillon which rotates about its own axis once a minute and can be viewed through the sapphire crystal caseback.

Patek’s Ref. 5101P has a double-barrel movement that ensures a 10 day power reserve for the Tourbillon. It is a manual-wind movement, Caliber 28-20/222 with COSC certification and the Geneva Hallmark.

Tourbillon

In horology, a tourbillon or tourbillion "whirlwind" is an addition to the mechanics of a watch escapement. Invented in 1795 by Swiss watchmaker Abraham-Louis Breguet, a tourbillon counters the effects of gravity by mounting the escapement and balance wheel in a rotating cage, ostensibly in order to negate the effect of gravity when the timepiece (and thus the escapement) is rotated. Originally an attempt to improve accuracy, tourbillons are still included in some expensive modern watches as a novelty and demonstration of watchmaking virtuosity. The mechanism is usually exposed on the watch's face to show it off.

attached is the Tourbillon of Patek Philippe Calibre 89. The 2nd Most expensive Watch, it was made in 1989.

Inspired by these genius clockmakers the young german watchmaker Thomas Prescher developed for the Thomas Prescher Haute Horlogerie in 2003 the first flying Double Axis Tourbillon in a pocketwatch and in 2004 the first flying Double Axis Tourbillon with constant force in the carriage in a wristwatch. Shown at the Baselworld 2003 and 2004 in Basel, Switzerland.

Nowadays, most of the top 10 best watch comes wit Tourbillon, besides PP, AP, VC, Jaeger, IWC,
Omega, GP, Blancpain... all comes with various kind of beautiful design and layout of Tourbillon being show on the Dial. Breget has also created its Double Tourbillon.
Also, there are many watches are made with "Similar" layout to resemble the "tourbillon" but when we look at it carefully, there are not Tourbillon., just a turning wheel carries the second hand ...
