Happiness and Joy is Everything!

Happiness and Joy

Happiness and Joy
Definition of happiness and joy to me sometimes is similar, as one day I open my Webster Dictionary to find out more about it.

They say:
Happiness is an emotion in which one experiences feelings ranging from contentment and satisfaction to bliss and intense pleasure.
Joy is a stronger, less common feeling than happiness. Witnessing or achieving selflessness to the point of personal sacrifice frequently triggers this emotion. Feeling spiritually connected to a god or to people.
So Happiness is to me pleasure and satisfaction to have material related?

Joy is something higher in terms of Spiritual level?

But I can assume that the materialistic pleasure when the Shop manager wiping your AMEX card with that magnificent sound “Shweeepppp…”  nowadays, we cannot find  anymore AMEX card printing machine,  is now replaced by cheap thermal paper printer… No class at all! And there is no sound at all.

No one notices that I had jutst wipped my card for an USD$20,000 watch!

Well, not until recently I was told that there is planet 1,000,000 times large that the Earth, and there is another planet which is even 1,000,000 times larger… I am too small in the life of this universe and After all I will be a piece of dust in the air… sad hmm…

Life is short, try to make yourself in anywhere, anytime with anyone with Happiness and Joy!

Let’s forget the debt, you should forget my debt to you too!

Each Day when you wake up, plan for the days for more happy and joyful event!
That is the Target of the DAY!

Hong Kong Watch Fever's travelling Kit

These are the items I used to carry when I travel.
Tie, Shoes, Socks, handkerchief, Card Holder (ACM with Satellite tracker), money Wallet, Pens, Chain, Tie Clips, passport holder etc. and a small bottle of “4711”.

They are all truly Value for Money. Such as my card holder which I have been using for 12 years.

I like the Rolex Passport holder, Montblanc Sterling Silver Model 149 fountain pen.

Watermans 1905 safety pen for my daily hand writing practice, it as a superb nib that no model pen can have.

A Dauphin Sterling Silver German ball pen.

18KY white gold Tie Clip with 0.3 Carat Diamond
A functional miniature Pipe Tie Clip made in Switzerland in the 50s!

Oh, I forget some CDs, as I can listen to some of the greatest music when I am about to turn in.

The bottle 4711, whenever I feel the stress, once I puff the pure scent of that magic water, I would feel relaxed!

Once I have appintment with a sophisticated lady, I would apply  two drops of 4711 on top my philtrum and forehead, immediatly it would hypnosize and transform myself to be a charismatic person of full confidence... BS? Try and see...

Most of all, a Decent watch. I don't have to use my watch to please the others, but myself!

No matter Roger Dubuis, Cartier, Frank Muller, Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Piaget…it represents my character and as a respect to my  customers of all kinds.

Wine and Watches,

Wine and watches

I like wine, so much as I like Watches, well, not until the other day I took out all the baskets of wine cork, surprising to know that since 2007 till now, I have opened more than 1,000 bottles.
Wine is also a fantastic experience, especial you are with some of your best friends who know how to drink, and having recommendation of good food to go!

I used to open a Half bottle of Red on Saturday evening whilst I chewed a roasted goose thigh from one Siu Lap Shop near my place. That could be one of the most delicious course of the week!

Does really Roasted Goose go with Red wine? Just I don't care so long you like it…

We take Champagne while we eat Oyster,  Or bite a Strawberry while you drink Champagne (Learnt from Richard Gere in the “Beautiful Woman”)

Rolex Ref 6694 1973 in super Condition Full Set.

Is older the wine the higher the value? Not necessary!

Is Older the watch, the higher the value! Not necessary too!

How about new watches? Will I have to wait for 20 years before you can sell it with profit?!
Not necessary! as it depends on the Watch

Like recently the PP 175th anniversay watches...
5175R-001 (7 pcs), 5975R-001 (400 pcs)
Rolex 116660 DeepSea D-blue...

But Definitely an older watch with good quality is always higher in price than a newer watch with same good quality under the same Make!

I don't know How much a Margaux 1900 costs, as I was told the wine is still “Too young “ to drink, preferable to be opened in 2020!

Is the first Day Date 1956 having a good value? Well, I think it should, if the watch is in good condition, with all Certificate, paper, box and seal.

Some Suggestion for our next HK Watch Fever gathering:
Bottle of good wine, roasted goose left leg, and some of the good decent men who bring his beloved watches to share his experience and tell us story about the watch…
Would it be fun!?

How about Yamazaki 21 years, it is OK to go with Roasted goose!?  I don't have the answer!

Trust and Credibility

HK Snob's Creation: Trust and Credibility

It may not be 100% related to Rolex, but it is for sure 100% related for business.

Sam, as one of my blog supporter who asked me to buy for him a Deep Sea D-Blue whereas he could not get it in Philippines, I told him send me some deposit and I will get one and deliver to him by hand…. To my surprise, he sent me 100% full fund of HK$91,000 to my bank Account last Friday!

So I know I have to find an official Deep Sea though I could not estimate when but for sure not too long I could get one for him.

I suddenly talk to myself why Sam could trust me., well, probably there is no negative comment from other discuss or Forum, and most people know that the most important thing in life is Trust, and Credibility. Each if us should move one step ahead first, of course Sam has moved 10 steps ahead first!

Here I started to search Google , to my gladness, I find this topics “How to Build Trust and Credibility”
By Frank Sonnenberg

I try to make it shorter as there are as many as 55 ways to build trust and credibility, but when I go through each of them, I cannot cut short anymore. Each of them is necessary to be there.   And, I think the first 10 and last one is the key message.
The last one says: REMEMBER, trust and credibility take years to develop but can be lost in seconds.
1.It takes many years to become an overnight success.
2.Good intentions are just the beginning.
3.Your reputation is their first impression.
4.Show people that you care about their needs.
5.A promise should be as binding as a contract.
6.Never sacrifice a long-term relationship for a short-term gain.
7.Don’t expect people to look up to you if you look down on them.
8.Give credit where credit is due.
9.The danger of shooting from the hip is hitting yourself in the foot.
10.Be knowledgeable and remain current in your field.
11.Follow through on every commitment that you make.
12.Take the time to provide the rationale behind your recommendations.
13.Stay focused. Trying to be all things to all people is a guaranteed recipe for mediocrity.
14.Be objective.
15.Opinions held in secret never make a difference.
16.Never cut corners.
17.Stand up for the things that you believe in. (Waffles are for breakfast.)
20.Be straight with people. Tell it like it is.
21.Don’t be afraid to present bad news. It’s worse to sweep it under the rug. (People appreciate honesty.)
22.Remain calm, cool, and collected during difficult times.
23.Present both sides of an issue. (Let them judge for themselves.)
24.Be a good listener.
25.Disclose potential conflicts of interest.
26.Even a tiny exaggeration can destroy your credibility.
27.Once you make a decision, don’t look back.
28.Always tell the truth or the truth will tell on you.
29.Surround yourself with people who have a high degree of integrity.
30.Your actions “off-stage“ (i.e., at an office party or on Facebook) impact your trust and credibility.
31.Typos and grammatical errors loom larger than life.
32.Remain transparent. (You’ll never be faulted for communicating too much.)
33.Never ask someone to do something that you’re not willing to do yourself.
34.Reliable and consistent behavior on your part allows people to anticipate what you’ll do in the future.
35.Do what’s right, even if nobody is looking.
36.You are judged by the company that you keep.
37.Your actions must match your words.
38.Being an expert in one area doesn’t make you an expert in everything.
39.Admit when you’re wrong.
40.Don’t submit unfinished work as complete.
41.Never confuse quantity with quality.
42.Think before you open your mouth.
43.People who “hard sell” don’t always have the facts on their side.
44.You gain more by making others look good than by singing your own praises.
45.Trying to be excellent in everything leads to mediocrity.
46.“Everybody does it” is a poor excuse for doing it yourself.
47.Words spoken in confidence are words spoken in trust.
48.Learn how to disagree without being disagreeable.
49.Repeating a rumor is as vicious as starting one.
50.People will test you in small ways before trusting you outright.
51.The only thing worse than talking about others is talking about yourself.
52.Great talent means nothing if you’re not dependable.
53.Few people will fault you for being tough, if you’re fair.
54.It’s not only what you bring to the table but also how you serve it.
55.REMEMBER, trust and credibility take years to develop but can be lost in seconds.

Breitling SuperOcean II 1,000M divers' Watch

Courtesy Picture of W&J Watch and Jewelry Spring Summer 2015 Aisa

Just being asked by a Swiss Rolex Rolex Exporter via Whatsapp see if I were in Basel, well, honestly that is the place I wish I could go, but I have still a “job” to do in my company.
I used to describe it a “career” 10 years ago.  Peoples knows me would understand what I am talking about.

Whilst everyone’s eyes are spotting on those big names: Patek Philippe, Rolex, Audemars Piguet, Audemars Piguets, IWC …I have found that amongst those 1,600 brands, Breitling SuperOCean II seems to be a Star shines at the Night of BaselWorld…

I like the DeepSea D-Blue if my wrist could be rounder and bigger, yes, I like the Submariner 16800 if it carries a name “Comex” but that is no the everyday watch for you and me….
It is beautiful in a sense of balanced arrangement of Number, Marking, lines and the Big eye catching Breitling logo on top of the centre spindle .

A “Date” is in fact not needed for a Diver Watch, but if you don't dive every day, well this is the Date you might need for your daily life.

It is slimmer and Arabic Numerals that does not feel too bore comparing with thoose dial with strips only.

To accommodate different wrist dimension and preference in watch size, Breitling is offering this SuperOCesan II in three size and finishes: 36mm White or Black on Polished steel, 42 or 44 in satin brushed steel.
Of course, I may consider the 42mm !

Let’s me see if I can get a SuperOCean II in SuperDiscount… I am waiting for this Super Watch!
