Cyma World Time Big Date Auto Watch

I recall that my first Cyma watch was a Moonphase Gold plated Auto with transparent base. It was about HKD$3,500.00 in 1988. That was quite a honest watch that did not steal my time away. I Don't know if I still can see that watch again as I sold to someone for another Watch.

This is a 2007 release Auto World Time from Cyma. Stainless Steel material and see through base for the auto Calibre. Friend of mine is using it, I met Him in HKIA yesterdsay and he showed me. Frequent traveller's favourite.

Serious Rolex Collector

This is probably one of the dissenting collectors for Rolex. He has roughly 60 Rolex Sea Dweller in that glass globe. All are in running mode. So What kind of mindset a Rolex Collector should be!?? Collect One model with all his financial might for Quantity!? Collect Different type or versatile version of one model!? Collect one series of the same model in different time of release!? Collect all sorts of Colour of dial!? Collect Lucky number of the Serial Number!?
My favourie is to Collect all major version of Day date! As there are numerous number of Rolex being released every year, As Rolex is probably the largest number of Chronometer Watch production in Switzerland. I think all collectors have the mindset to collect as many as he can, But as for myself, I prefer to collect as best as I can for one Model. Well, if there is too many watches, it is a magnificent way to display and people will definitely say “WOOOW… A lot of Rolex!” But if they are more or less the same… That may be better to collect something which is rare…

Anyway, I like those Rolexes on the Glass Globe!


As We have thumb of rule for Collections; Accurate, Rarity, technical evolutional. Design beauty. Most of all…my personal idea only!

Cartier Panthère Ring

Vintage Patek Philippe 38mm chronograph with moonphase

 

This is a watch being extensively used for more than 20 years, watch of a Dutch friend of mine.

Of course from "Plating" of the gold, we know that this is not authentic Patek Pilippe Watch. As genuine Patek Philippe does not have "Gold Plated Watch"!

We do not encourge to buy this kind of watch, but in fact the quality of the Calibre is good at least lasting for 20 years.

However the time keeping is bad and the plating is gone, looks awful, there is nothing Patek at all
