This Jaeger- LeCoultre '101' wristwatch movement introduced in 1929 remains the smallest mechanical wristwatch movement ever made.

It was put into series production and remained available at least until the 1950s.
Queen Elizabeth II got one of this watch in 1950's.
It comprises 98 parts, measures 14mm x 4.8mm x 3.4mm, and weighs only 0.9 grammes (including the dial and hands). LeCoultre company have manufactured precision watch components since 1833.
In 1903 Jacques David Le Coultre entered into a partnership with the chronometer-maker Edmond Jaeger and together they manufactured some of the most technologically advanced watches of the era. They also introduced the Reverso watch in 1931, which became one of the best known watches in the world.

The most Punctual Clock in the World

Switzerland is world renowned for its punctuality, a reputation enhanced with the enduring image of the Swiss Railway Clock. The clock, displayed in every railway station in Switzerland, can be found more than 3,000 times across the country. The simple and unique design is an international symbol for reliability and visitors learn quickly to depend on its easy-to-read face to ensure they make their train departure. Back in the 1940s when the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) was looking for a way to take advantage of their name for punctuality and incorporate this theme into their national image, they asked Hans Hilfiker, an SBB employee, engineer and prolific inventor, to come up with a highly visible clock that would not only form the basis of their later corporate identity, but it would help to guarantee on time departures as well.
Hilfiker, an exponent of products that were both functional and well designed, created the Railways masterpiece in 1944. The design, with its clear and easily read face, mimics the smooth running of the trains and incorporates clever features that demonstrate punctuality in a highly visible fashion.
With the famous seconds stop every minute - pause for a moment at 58 seconds and think before you start into a new minute of your life. Was trigger to be actviated by electic pulse at "0" second. The facinative " stop to go", like on the original clock, features the Red Second hand turns full circle in just 58 Seconds. And waits at 12 O'clock for the black minute hand to move on before the starting of next rotation.

Rolex and Precision

Rolex is a kind of well-accpeted brand name in Hong Kong as a Watch, and this kind of watch can maintain certain kind of High quality. Rolex does not change much in the design, they are not out-dated as they have a very unique line of model n the past 50 years. Rolex is the only one comoany that is in the 100 best brands ranked at 77. They are not hand make in the scale of Patek Philippe, not as Elegant as Cartier design.

There is a lot special patent and design feature no one has for watches. Most of the Oyster series are Swiss Official certified Chronometers! The only company that produce most of the Chronmeters in Switzerland. This is engraved on te dial of your oyster and come with a red seal when you purchase this piece of watch. People says that Watch does not need to be accurate. I say watch basic requirement is to be accurate...if not, do not call it watch! Do you think Patek Phillipe is not accurate!? Very Accurate! They have a PPM of 50 or less. PPM stands for Part Per Millions, say if my Rolex is gaining 3 seconds a day, means that it has a PPM of 3/3600x24 x 1,000,000 = 34.72 PPM!

That is made with every tough requirement on the parts of each of the wheels, temperature compenstaion of the fly-wheel, and a pain taking adjustment on the 5 positions of the watch. This is no Fake watch of any kind can produce at this kind of precision! Some one told me that they can adjust the watch to be accurate on those Fake version, I tell you : Forget it! So I always say to myself, Rolex is value for Money!
