Shocking News, Patek Philippe Reduces Price by 20 Percents effective Today!

Effective immediately, Patek Philippe reduces Price of all old models 20%.

Whereas they reduce 7% to 8 % on all 2013 and 2014 models.

This is a shock to me as Patek Philippe should not go that far for 20% price reduction.

After Japan had increased the price of Rolex 4% to 10%.

Audemars Piguet increased some HK$ 6,000 on model like 15202ST , follow by Germany with adjustment of 7% on 1st Feb,.

Panerai reduces all model by 5%.

There is rumour that The prestige line of Swiss most renowned brand of watch Patek Philippe will reduce their watch price by a few percents on 10 Feb. Let's see if that is true and how much.

I heard that UK will increase price of Rolex on 1st June.

So we can tell that Market of luxury watch is slow. we don't know when Patek Philippe price will be increased?

This is one of the most beautiful Dress watch, Patek Philippe Ref 5115G Calatrava.

The Dial is a Porcelain dial, which took tenth of hours to make. If you do not know, you may think this is epoxy dial.

Note at the word written bottom of the dial is “Cadran Email” means Enamel Dial!

It was sold brand new at HKD$80,000 a few years ago, and now it is selling at about HKD$130,500 in the open market.

It was made with 18KT white gold, and it about 35mm diameter, manual wind with a black crocodile strap. The white gold pure colour echoes with the white enamel dial make it looking so much Elegant.

After the first Book “Patek Philippe Geneve” was published by Alan Banbery, there were  numerous requests for the second book. This is the second “Patek Philippe Geneve” published solely to Patek Philippe collectors.

I bought this book at Swindon book store at Lok Road, Tsim Sha Tsui in 1987. The price was HKD$1,380. I believe that is not cheap at all, and I do not know if we still can buy this or not?

It is all about Patek Philippe history, important creation, important Watches, Prototype watches, how do some of the watch works, such as Automatic, Perpetual calendar mechanism, spilt second and Repeater and some of the new development of Patek Phlippe watches.  A good reference book for Patek Philippers.
