How To do Polishing on your Day Date?

Cut the Polish Paper to the width of the side section and Pull the Paper to make the brushed Surface

5 minutes practice  before the Day Date

I am not perfectionist, but I don't like my watch is having too much scratches…

Sometime even though you care so much on your Gold Rolex… someone on the road wearing a massive iron watch like a hammer would hit on your Rolex… Oh, no surprise to see a hair line scratches on your Oyster body… Oyster Body is Strong, but it is made of 18KT gold… softer than that Hammer

Will you send it to Rolex to do Polishing…?

I don't. as I do it myself..

Tools a hand held polishing motor, some of the polishing head for making mirror surface… a tube of German Autosol metal Polish… a piece of 1200CW Silicon Carbide Watch proof Polish paper…

A mini vice … that is it…

Procedure

1.  Remove the gold bracelet from the     Watch.

2.  Start using the Polishing Mop to polish the shining surface of the bracelet… unit you can see mirror surface with the Autosol.

3. Cut the thin strip of Polishing paper with the same width of the Semi-circular brushed surface of the bracelet, and lightly press with one finger and use other hand to pull lightly along the direction of the bracelet,.. and make it same for every link of the bracelet…

4. Note that the width of the semi-circular link is smaller at the buckle side of the bracelet, you have to cut the exact width of the polishing paper to fit it..

5.  Using the Polishing mop to polish the watch body, on the mirror surface area.

6.  Lock up the Crown and watch with light detergent under warm water to remove excess dirt, metal polish and dry it on tissue paper…

You Will surprise to see your Rolex is like new the edge remains sharp, shinning new Rolex

….it is fun if you like doing this mechanic stuff..

Warning, if you are not too sure if you can do it… Don't Do it or it will become a Polex!

In such a case, send to Rolex Service Centre…let the expert does it for you.

A lot of sales has lost their commission which is the major portion of their income in HK. Many Boutiques haven been close at Causeway Bay shopping hub.

Well, he is talking about Ref 116520 Black. , however don't forget he is big importer, and he has no box provided. The price is good if you can buy direct from Him. But No many people can get from him as he is selling fast and in volume…

I am trying to say that the watch price has been soft, and the high US Dollars (HKD) will definitely make the offer not too attractively especially to neighbor countries like Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines…

Singapore was top one buyer for me in the past three years, and there is no one  in this year….

Because Singapore watch dealer is offering good price , especially for those who can get rid of the 7% GST…that will be comparable to price of HK.

We don't know what will be the price for 2016. And I believe that it would be more or less the same.

However one point we need to think about it, if you really need a Daytona, if yes,… it is time to buy as it is LOWEST ever…

If not then forget about it… go for a Date Just or a Simple G Shock.

Today is a holiday in China, probably no, but Today is definitely the days for the singles and it’s been a huge deal in China. It’s called Singles Day and it’s basically anti-Valentine’s Day. For all those who believe V-Day is a holiday made up by card companies to sell millions of greeting cards this year – you’ll be interested in Singles Day.

Singles Day, or Guanggun Jie in Chinese, was founded by a group of college kids in 1993, inspired by the imagery of “11.11”, since guanggun translates to “lone stick”.  Well, stick could possible related to the male genital in shape, four of them could be a big deal!?

 It started off as a “Bachelors Day”, but the day of being single and partying with other single friends spread to females as well. But in 2009, Alibaba, e-commerce company that owns sites like their own version of eBay, were all like, ‘Hey, let’s start marketing to these lonely single people on Singles Day and push them to splurge on one-day sales’.

No matter what, we wish the stick could find a right matching hole and lock it up tightly…
