It is your character, your choice for the watch

Over the past 15 years watches were made in various levels of Complexity, single tourbillon became two, then four, will the Quad tourbillon would have a four times better in time accuracy, big question. But definitely a Quad Tourbillon will fascinate your eyes, and 10 times more expensive!

There is a trend going Minimalism, that is a tool that can assist you in finding freedom. Freedom from the trappings of the consumer culture we’ve built our lives around.

Why IWC does not provide us thin dress watch with simple with fine italic engraved as “International Watch Co.  Schaffhausen”…on the dial? IWC has changed his customer profile target to the younger one with watch made bigger, using new material… ceramic, carbon composite, bronze and plastic…while some of the other watch makers Audemars Piguet, is still very cautious about choosing these material on their watches.

As there is people including me who fed up with the watch price that makes your tongue stretched out touching your nose…with a simple tourbillon watch with US$50,000, a Stainless steel watch with just two hands and blue dial is US$30,000!

I sometimes find watches that is fun to wear if that is more or less clean dial, easy to read time, precision, lasting and can be used for many decades, preferably automatic but I don't mind hand winding, while I still afford it.

A Simple watch with just a few functions with a simple leather strap might be classified Materialism if that is over US$10,000.  There is a few available on hand which is clean, beautiful and classic…That is  materialism because it is over US$10,000.  Some of the samples are shown here.

Minimalism is materialism in this case!

People born in a year of the Rooster are very observant. Hardworking, resourceful, courageous, and talented. Sometimes I feel they are over confident and may impose some unintentional hurt to people reading. In short they might be too much Ostentatious that some people may not like… if that is the case, I will say regret to them. And I belong to this year, and over the years if there is something I say in appropriate, please accept my apologies. Being a Blogger, there is no way to please everyone in the internet.

Roosters are very confident in themselves, make yourself confident about yourself, wear whatever you like, Patek Philippe, Rolex, IWC, Nomos, Omega, SevenFriday, A Lange, Paneria , Roger Dubuis, Richard Mille, G-Shock, Jaeger LeCoultre… whatever as it is your choice as a buying decision from your character.

The 2014 Nomos Tetra Berlin Collection

The Tetra Berlin collection celebrates the diversity of the city of Berlin with the visual representation of iconic landmarks.
The collection comes in 4 colour.

Nachtijall hosts a deep midnight blue lacquer ($2,320)
Goldelse features a rose gold galvanized dial with a brushed finish ($2,390)

Clärchen is the bright green lacquer with gold hands and markings ($2,320)

Kleen is the Mint green has accented with gold hands and markings, as well a power reserve at 12:30 position. ($2,920)

Amongst all I like the Bright green but love to have the power reserve, What I can choose!?

A unisex Case 29.5mm square case and a slim 6.3mm thick with stepped lugs.
The sapphire back showcases the in-house Nomos alpha caliber.
Manually wound caliber with three-quarter plate construction.
43-hour power reserve.

Size is bit too small for men, only valid on women’s wrist with such a Size I guess, I love to see it but can not Buy it with such small watch as it look too feminine.

The Designer might be a lady that does not allow the men to enjoy her beautiful minimalist concept of watch.

These watches are yet to be available in HK?
